The Stitchers' Village Designs & Moonflower Designs

My first design, "Yule", was released in 2003. The name of my original design company, Moonflower Designs, was taken from the beautiful, night-blooming flowers that I discovered and planted in my garden in Chapman, KS, where I was living at the time. The company began with the Small Scapes designs.  They  were kits based on the color name of the Picture This Plus fabric used. This was shortly after PTP began dyeing fabric for cross stitch. The Small Scapes kits included fabric, thread, and embellishment(s). Designs included an eclectic mixture of themes and included a number of Celtic inspired ones. In 2010, I purchased The Stitchers’ Village web site and began the social feature.  In 2014 TSV was completely re-designed to incorporated the main site and the social area into the same platform. Stitchers’ Village Designs was also launched to produce charts and kits and consolidate branding.  It was necessary for the site and community to, again, be re-written in 2018.  Please join us there (stitchersvillage.com/village) to post photos of your projects and interact with fellow stitchers.   Also, check back as I am working on new designs all of the time!!  I also collaborate with other designers for special event charts on the Village!
