The design is called “Impressions 1” and is Celtic in style. The overall size of the design is 140 x 140. It requires two thread colors - three skeins total - 2 of the main color and 1 of the accent color. I have used “Vellum” color fabric from Picture This Plus and the threads are silk Gloriana: 066A Highland Garden DK (2 skeins) and 169 Old Gold. If you substitute and wish to create the “weave/over-under” effect of the knot design, you will want a threads with a lot of variation in the color. I like this pattern as it has many different motifs and is not symmetrical
